Call of Duty: World League Will Take Over MLG Vegas This Weekend

Call

MLG Vegas takes place in Las Vegas this weekend, and it appears that Activision will be taking a huge part in it with its Call of Duty: World League.
The company has announced that the season will kick off this weekend, with a number of teams competing for a $100,000 prize pool and getting that much closer to becoming CWL 2017 Champions.
MLG Vegas kicks off this weekend at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas from December 16th through the 18th, and pool play will begin today, with 160 expected teams participating – which is the largest open bracket for Call of Duty to date, according to the company. It’ll eventually whittle down, with the final teams competing for the prize pool and the title of CWL Open Champion on Sunday.
Over 1,000 teams first entered the competition this year, with the 32 most elite teams making it to the World League as a result. The final rounds were held during the CWL Championship at the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles.
Fans will be able to watch all the action once again through MLG.TV, as well as MLG’s YouTube channel and in-game (with Infinite Warfare on PS4) through the live Event Viewer on PlayStation 4. Of course, we’ll provide details on where you can watch it all happen as the World League gets closer.
So if you’re in Vegas this weekend, be sure to stop by and check out the action!
