Agents Of SHIELD Executive Producer Discusses Whether Daisy Will Become Director

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jed Whedon had plenty to say about Daisy Johnson and her leadership skills. When a fan asked is there was a chance Daisy would become the director of SHIELD, the producer did not shy away from the possibility.

“We’ve hinted at it a bit, that Coulson thinks she can play more of a leadership role,” Whedon admitted. “We’ll see how it goes, and where the story takes her. She’s been through a lot so that usually turns someone from a rookie into a seasoned veteran, which is what you need to lead. We’ll see if she steps up to the plate.”Here’s the official synopsis for “LMD,” the first episode to air following the show’s midseason hiatus:
