The Flash: Teddy Sears Talks About Black Flash Returning

In the season 2 finale of The Flash, we saw Zoom transform into Black Flash and have been wondering if and when we would see him return.
In a recent interview with TV Guide Teddy Sears who played Zoom said:
"Zoom has been transformed into Black Flash, who has quite a place in the mythology of The Flash. He's like the grim reaper for speedsters. Andrew Kreisberg, the head writer and EP, has talked about their interest in having a Black Flash return at some point in the series."
However, Seers has recently been cast on FOX's upcoming TV show 24 Legacy,""It would be a lot of fun to drop back into that world. We'll just have to see if the guys on the other end feel the same way," Sears says. "It sounds like they do, but it's funny - now I belong to Fox, so there's lots of people that would have to give a thumbs up. But I really hope so."The dessicated appearance, bad teeth, and the change in color on his uniform's logo (suddenly it had a white background and red lightning bolt) and earpieces (ditto the red), indicate that Zoom wasn't merely forced into service as a Time Wraith, but is actually the Black Flash.
The Flash returns to the CW on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. Following he events of the "Invasion!' crossover with SupergirlArrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, the second half of The Flash Season 3 will focus on The Flash's battle with the "god of motion" called Savitar.
