Internet Reacts to Patrick Wilson Joining Jason Momoa's Aquaman

Just hours ago, it was reported that Patrick Wilson — the 43-year-old actor know for playing Lou Solverson in the second season of FX's Fargo — has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' live-action Aquaman movie and will potray Orm (a.k.a. Ocean Master) Arthur Curry's (Jason Momoa) powerful and evil half-brother.
Wilson playing Orm may surprise a lot of people, but him joining the cast of a film being directed by James Wan shouldn't surprise anyone. This is because Wilson and Wan have frequently collaborated, having worked together on Insidious (2010), The Conjuring (2013), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and The Conjuring 2 (2016). Heck, even in March, during WonderCon, Wan said Wilson "might" join the cast.
Plus, Wilson is no stranger to comic book movies, having played Dan Dreiberg/Nite Owl II in Zack Snyder's Watchmen (2009) and voicing the president of the United States in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Yes, he's the one that ordered the nuclear strike against Doomsday — which was a bit baffling since he knew Superman was in the vicinity and doing fine job of lugging the creature into space.aquaman-patrickwilson-oceanmaster-jasonmomoa
An icon for over 70 years, Aquaman is the King of the Seven Seas. This reluctant ruler of Atlantis, caught between a surface world constantly ravaging the sea and Atlanteans looking to lash out in revolt, is committed to protecting the entire globe.
The film is based on characters appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment and will star Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) as the sea-dwelling superhero, Amber Heard (Machete Kills) as Mera, and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Atlantean politician Vulko.
It's being directed by James Wan (Furious Seven, The Conjuring), written by Will Beall (Gangster Squad), and produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder and Zack Snyder
