Dragon Ball Super Announces New Director

The worldwide obsession that is Dragon Ball is showing no signs of slowing down, at least not any time soon.
The newest iteration of the Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Super, is one of the most popular anime series on the air right now. While the series did have the help of Dragon Ball Z to get it started, Super has become a hit with fans for telling an equally compelling story to that of its predecessors.

After the sixty-eighth episode of the series, it was announced that Dragon Ball Super would be getting a new series director. Kōhei Hatano, who served as an episode director for the first part of the series, will now take charge of the entire series.
Kōhei Hatano will work alongside current lead director Morio Hatano to bring the rest of the series. Morio took over as lead directer following Kimitoshi Chioka's departure before episode 34. Morio assisted Kimitoshi for 13 episodes before taking over as the sole lead director in episode 46.
